The Story
Founded in 2020 by two friends with an e-commerce background, Harold van Hasselt and Koen van der Wal, who had always dreamed of running their own webshop, Framingos has become the ultimate destination for quirky abstract artwork, line drawings and inspiring quotes, with their posters printed on demand through Helloprint Create & Sell (that’s us).
Since making its recent debut Harold and Koen have harnessed all their knowledge in e-commerce and marketing to win the hearts of more than 60k followers on Instagram and make the highly convertible website. This has led them to ship hundreds of orders to customers in the Netherlands and all over Europe.
Choosing print on demand for success
When it came to choosing the products and business model for their business, from the very beginning, the co-founders knew it would be Print on Demand. Working full-time jobs, they wanted to start quickly, without big investments and risks, and get the print and shipping part covered by a trusted print partner. It was made through integration with the website they've built on the Shopify e-commerce platform.
